What should I bring on the tour?

I recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a bottle of water. Not all my walks are step free but can potentially be adjusted if there are particular needs which need to be accomodated.

Are the tours suitable for children?

Most of my tours are family-friendly and suitable for children of school age.

How long do the tours last?

Walking Tours typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the specific tour and group size.

About Lambeth Fantastical

Lambeth Fantastical is a collection of guided walks, online talks, and a monthly blog. Your guide David Turnbull is huge fan of scifi, horror and fantasy, an accedited guide for the Lambeth Tour Guides' Association, and also provides guided walks for London Guided Walks.

He is a founding member of the Clockhouse London group of genre writers and has had over 150 short stories published in magazines and anthologies. His stories have also been featured at Liars League London events and performed at other live events such as Solstice Shorts and Virtual Futures.

He was the 2023 winner of the Wilson's Tales of the Borders competition and his flash fiction is published in the Fiction 4 All collection 'One Hundred Predictions'. His other published works include 'HUSks', a near future dystopian novella, 'The Dragon Breath Chronicles' a steampunk adventure for children, and 'Maggie's House', a summer ghost novel set in 1973. He writes regular articles for the online magazine Spooky Isles.
